Getting connected: credentials and first login
Where credentials live, how to link a platform, and switching later.
Updated 2026-07-09
1. Find your credentials
When your account provisions, connection credentials are issued to the account card in your dashboard — username, and a connection profile for the platform you selected. They are specific to the trading account, not your portal login: portal email gets you into the dashboard, credentials get your platform onto the sim engine.
2. Connect your platform
- R|Trader Pro — install, choose the connection profile from your account card, log in. No license key needed; it's included.
- Third-party platforms (Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap, Jigsaw, Sierra Chart, MotiveWave) — add a new connection using the same credentials; the account appears under your account ID (UF-…).
- One platform connection per account at a time — running two front ends against one account causes order-state conflicts and is blocked at the connection layer.
3. Switching platforms later
Switch any time from the account card — disconnects the old profile and issues a fresh one, effective immediately, at no cost. Your account state (balance, floor, objectives) lives on our side, so nothing about the account changes when the front end does.
If a login fails right after purchase, the account may still be provisioning — the card shows PROVISIONING until it's live. Ten minutes stuck? Email support with the account ID; time lost to provisioning never counts against you.
